Yes, I certainly did say “Qapla’!” What did I succeed in doing, you ask? I flashed the router and again followed Comcast’s suggestions on getting the two talking and voila. The router on the new firmware succeeded in getting a DHCP connection and suddenly the LAN was online. It’ll be nice, since now I’ll have WiFi for the iPhone when in range of my apartment. Which means I’ll have MAC addresses to add when Nate comes to visit or when I invest in a WiFi enabled laptop or tablet.
I’m just happy that I have the LAN together so that I can now print from either computer on the Photosmart which will come in handy.
